Virtual Memory Tree 2021

Virtual Memory Tree

In the year 2020, the world became a different place for everyone due to Covid-19. Many businesses had to shut down or resort to working from home. Families stayed in touch through Facetime, Zoom, Facebook etc. At GPPCS, we learned we had to get with the times and find more virtual ways we could stay in touch with our community and keep our programs and services available.

Every year at the Festival of Trees, we place our Memory Tree at the entrance so we can greet people as they enter and share our message. Unfortunately, last year the festival of trees was not held in person due to Covid and we had to come up with a solution to share our message with the community.

The Virtual Memory Tree was born!

With the help of our staff and volunteers, individuals can send a message to us about a memory of a loved one, and we will place it on our Memory Tree located at Hospice. We will be updating the picture of our tree to show all the beautiful memories.

*We will also be accepting donations towards the new specialized bed for the Prairie Lakes Hospice.*
