Kelsi is an accredited music therapist, wife and mother of two.
Music has been a part of her world since she was a little one and she finds joy and excitement in sharing it with a new generation of melody makers, while keeping it in the lives of aging seniors.
Engaging all populations while using therapeutic intent in her music leads to music being an interactive and rewarding experience.
“Music therapy looks different for each client,” says McInnes, “but generally it is the therapeutic use of music and musical elements to stimulate neurological change and promote health and wellness.”
“It’s really endless: physical, cognitive, mental, spiritual, emotional: those are our domains that we are constantly thinking about when making goals with clients.”
